School Wellness Programs

1. School Mental Health Program

Mental wellness of children forms an integral component of overall development, impacting their ability to interact socially, build and foster relationships, do well in academics and manage challenging emotions. Children spend more time in school than anywhere else apart from their home, the importance of which has been long been established.  As a result of this, a variety of psycho-social and mental health problems might arise, and they affect learning and academic performance in profound ways. Therefore, it has become increasingly important to address both physical and mental health concerns in school for students to perform well in academic and in different aspects of their life.

School is one of the best places for both educators and students to become increasingly aware of psychological well-being of the child.  Understanding this need and the importance, we at Ananya offer several programs for schools as an adjunct and support for the schools.
